This is the history of the Vermont, USA based artrock band The Winter Tree. From the first cassette only release in 1988 to the last studio album in 2018, every album is represented by one song. I hope to give the listener a good overview of the band and the many changes navigated over those 30 years!

THE WINTER TREE (formerly MAGUS) is a band formed by composer/multi-instrumentalist Andrew Laitres in 1985 after a 4 year stint on the regional cover band circuit. Andrew wanted to focus his time and talents on creating original compositions.
